The Department of Homeland Security Transportation and Security Agency's Office of Intelligence and Analysis (DHS TSA OIA) has awarded a potential five-year, $250-million contract to the Accenture team that includes SimonComputing. This contract will modernize the agency's transportation threat assessment and credentialing (TTAC) infrastructure. These systems verify and manage identities of transportation industry workers who have access to secure areas. Currently there are several different programs that serve this purpose, and Accenture plans to consolidate these into a single integrated program. This will improve credentialing of transportation workers and the security of the facilities and areas they have access to.
